Dutch water sector @IFAT Munich

The Dutch water sector will be present at IFAT Munich through the traditional Netherlands Pavilion located at A3.217/316. The Pavilion will be hosted by the Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP) and Water Alliance.

The organisations participating in the Pavilion are:

• AQANA B.V.

AQANA offers expert solutions involving innovative carrier-based anaerobic technology. They serve industries around the world committed to providing the best possible client-specific solution. Aqana started as a joint venture of AQWISE & Dutch Water Technologies in 2011 and is part of the BlueGen water group since 2021. Aqana now operates worldwide and continues to innovate and evolve technologies and products to meet the ever-changing needs of the industry to preserve the environment.

• Aquatech

Aquatech is the world’s leading platform on technology and solutions for a sustainable water future. With their events in Amsterdam, China and Mexico and their global online community with news, views and analyses, they bridge the gap between business, governments and scientific water technology and management communities to drive a sustainable water future. Aquatech covers the complete Urban Water Cycle and has been sharing technical innovations, connecting water professionals and creating business opportunities since 1968.

• AVIC B.V.

• CirTec B.V.

CirTec aims to contribute actively to society’s sustainability and the reuse of waste materials in particular.With both proven and innovative technology, they are able to provide the most appropriate solution for a large number of environmental issues. They focus on the development of alternative raw materials such as recovered cellulose from municipal wastewater and the use of low value residual heat for evaporation of concentrated streams. Cooperation and sharing knowledge are the keys to progress and an integral part of their business model.

• EBC Foundation

The European Benchmarking Co-operation (EBC Foundation) is a not-for-profit sector initiative to improve drinking water and wastewater services. EBC offers drinking water and wastewater utilities a leading improvement and knowledge exchange programme, in which participants gain insight into potential improvement areas, industry best practices, and innovations through extensive, annual benchmarking exercises and knowledge exchange events. EBC is also involved in several Water Operator Partnerships globally with a benchmarking component as a basis for capacity building.

• ESEP Milieutechniek B.V.

ESEP Milieutechniek BV is specialised in the development, production, and supply of purifying equipment and water management systems for industrial and municipal markets. ESEP has a broad range of separation techniques intended for the primary physical water treatment. In addition, they offer solutions to control water flows in industrial and municipal sewer systems.

• Hydraloop Systems B.V.

Hydraloop is a multi-award-winning venture that creates, produces and sells low-maintenance decentralised greywater recycling solutions. They empower people and organisations to save 25–45% on water and wastewater, reduce their carbon footprint, and keep full comfort of living. They offer a variety of innovative, IoT-connected, sustainable, water recycling products for residential and commercial real estate, enabling LEED/BREEAM/GreenKey certification. 

• ISS Tanks B.V.

ISS Tanks B.V. supplies and installs storage and covering systems for all kinds of liquids, gas and solid substances around the world. The storage systems consist of storage tanks with covers made from prefabricated steel plates or GRP Polyester elements. The storage tanks and cover systems are designed and engineered in compliance with international standards and take into account the local climatic conditions such as temperature, wind and snow load as well as earthquake zones.

• Konkaav

Konkaav connects the demand for and supply of innovative water technology. Konkaav provides interim support to technical start-ups and companies active in the water and environmental sector. Introducing new techniques and incorporating customers into the new possibilities is our spearhead. Internationalisation, pioneering in new markets and desk research are subjects where thy feel at home.

• Lubo International

Lubo dry lubrication for the thread of nearly any type of bolt, especially stainless steel, making them highly effective and versatile. Their pre-lubricated bolts boast an environmentally friendly lubrication formula that is PFAS-free. In addition, their bolts are machinable and offer a consistent friction value of 0.12. Their dry lubrication withstands temperatures from -120 °C to +1400 °C and even exposure to saltwater or sand poses no problem.

• Membrane Systems Europe B.V.

Membrane Systems Europe B.V. (MSE) is specialised in the design, production and installation of single membranes, double membranes and biogas domes. MSE supplies 100% high frequently welded double membrane covers and biogas domes in more than 65 countries worldwide. Their products can be used for the storage and coverage of CH4 (biogas) as well as for H2 (hydrogen) and CO2 (carbon dioxide). MSE provides the patented Low-E concept for insulation double membrane.

• Nedap N.V.

Nedap partners with UV professionals globally to facilitate highly efficient UV systems at the lowest total costs of ownership. Their smart technology helps UV business to develop innovative solutions that tackle real-world challenges. Their low and medium pressure UV lamp driver solutions are the culmination of over 30 years’ experience in electronic lamp driver technology.

• Netherlands Water Partnership

NWP is an independent, non-governmental foundation, established in 1999 in response to the call for greater collaboration and a stronger united voice in the international arena as a sector. Since then, fostering collaboration in the Dutch water sector in the Netherlands and abroad has remained at the core of NWP’s mission. This is done through implementing programmes that enhance cross-sector collaboration and innovation; building coalitions around themes or regions to enhance collective impact; raising the water organisations’ international profile; and uniting to positively influence policy and collectively contribute to reaching the SDGs.

Partners for Water is a programme of the Dutch Government that works on water issues around the world. They do this in long-term cooperation with local partners and the Dutch water sector. The Programme encourages knowledge sharing, innovations and an integrated approach. This is how they create impact in the field of water security for people, plants, and animals.

• P.B. International

PB is your partner when it comes to small to medium sized ultrafiltration modules and systems. Their goal is to make hollow fiber technology available for small applications. Besides its hot and cold water module production, PB also produces plug-and-play UF systems including PLC controller. As a manufacturer, they offer private label, custom made and retrofit services for module production.

• PRIMO GROUP A/S

Primo’s core technology is extrusion of plastic profiles, producing customised solutions for water treatment in the water and wastewater treatment industry, and many other industries.
